▪️ The first version of OpenAI's DALL-E was itself revolutionary when it came out, as it could create almost anything, but wasn't really accessible. I think this is great, as it means that generative AI is truly getting to the point where the quality (at least on some images) is match human ability, especially on certain art styles.
When looking on Reddit and ArtStation I now find myself frequently zooming in to check for details. The high quality and level of adoption of Stability AI's Stable Diffusion, has started making it challenging to differentiate between human and AI art. Looking forward to meeting in person again! Great keynotes by Afterpay, Shopify, Google, and awesome talks by a lot of very smart industry professionals throughout the 3 days with key knowledge, tips, and ideas being shared.Ī personal big thank you to Iain Calvert without who I would not have been able to attend. Got the chance to meet a lot of industry friends in person for the first time, and connected with a lot of talented, passionate people!Įveryone is super interested about AI, and not one person has yet to try ChatGPT! Now that they got a taste of what it can do, the questions are: How can I best use it for my business? How do I use it at scale? How do I make sure the quality is good? - All thing we are happy to help with at Standard Retail.
This was the first year for me, and it was a blast. What an awesome 3 days at Retail Fest! A huge thank you to Ashley Hudson and the rest of the Retail Global team for making it at all happen.
